SHERPA KAMI RITA SCALED MOUNT EVEREST 24TH TIMES

Sherpa Kami Rita scaled Mount Everest 24th times. Breaking his own 23rd record for the most successful ascents of the world’s highest peak within the week. Gyanendra Shrestha, a liaison officer at the base camp, told that the 49-year-old climber scaled Mt Everest. He became the only Mountaineer in the world to hold the record for most Everest in the world.
“It is my profession, but at the same time I am setting a new world record for Nepal too,” Rita told The Associated Press last month before heading to the mountain within a week.
Sherpa Rita, 49, first scaled Everest in 1994. And he was making the trip nearly every year since. One of many Sherpa guides whose expertise and skills are vital to the safety and success of the hundreds of climbers. Those who head to Nepal each year seeking to stand on top of the world.

Sherpa break own Everest climbing record

His father was among the first Sherpa guides employed to assist climbers to reach the summit. And Rita followed in his father footsteps and some more. In addition, he summited nearly two dozen summits of the peak. Rita has scaled several other peaks that are among the worlds highest. Including K-2, Cho-Oyu, Manaslu and Lhotse many others.
Rita and his team were in Everest’s base camp in 2015. Massive an avalanche swept through many life of climber killing 19 people. After that tragedy, he came under intense family pressure to quit the mountaineering course.
“I know Mount Everest very well, having climbed it 23 times, but at the same time I know I may or may not come back,” he told AP last month. “I am like a soldier who leaves behind their wives, children, and family to battle for the pride of the country.”

He said that before climbers reach the summit to take photographs announcing their success. Besides that, there are months of hard work need. The Sherpas are the ones who manage setting up the camps, carrying the loads on their backs, cooking food and carrying oxygen tanks.
Sherpa tribespeople were mostly yak herders and traders living deep within the higher Himalayas. Their stamina and familiarity made them mountains man.
Moreover, Sherpa Kami Rita scaled Mount Everest 24th times. There are 41 different teams in Everest base camp. More than 500 climbers who have been submitted Mt Everest within this week.
The climbers have now been descending to the lower camps safely. Sherpa said more adding that; Kami Rita wanted to climb Mt Everest for at least 25 times.
